Medicare rebates are available under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program.
Eligible clients, usually those with a complex condition (i.e. diabetes, heart disease, obesity) managed by a GP under an EPC plan, may access Medicare rebates for up to five allied health services in a calendar year. The care plan, which is developed by the doctor and the patient, can include up to five dietetic services (item 10954) a year if required.
